OPERATIONAL STRATEGY
Contract Programme
Various Project Management methods such as bar charts or Critical Path Analysis/schedules are employed, thus indicating at the earliest possible time, any conflict between the two programmes thereby allowing for the rectification or modification of the project programme.
Progress Monitoring and Control
A Production Monitoring System is operated as a contract control system ensuring that shortfalls in progress are detected at an early stage and manning levels can therefore be modified to accommodate reviews. Material ordering and supply is also monitored enabling timely delivery of basic materials which can be assessed against the main sub-contract programme.
Stage 1: Strategic Appraisal of Project at Tender stage.
Manpower and materials requirements schedule are prepared in line with instructions given in tender documentation, highlighting critical areas of installation and resource problems with respect to deliverables, manpower and equipment.
Stage 2: Contract Programme
Various Project Management methods such as bar charts or Critical Path Analysis are employed, thus providing at the earliest possible time, any conflict between the two programmes, thereby enabling rectification or modification to be implemented.
Stage 3: Supporting Schedule
Production Schedule, material delivery and other resources schedules are developed simultaneously with the sub-contract programme enabling identification of any production/scheduling problems. This therefore allows the initiation and scheduling adequate corrective/remedial action. These schedules are monitored and updated at regular intervals.
Project planning is executed by specialist planning engineers located at our head office and on-site as required
All recognized planning techniques are employed such as would suit particular contract requirements and or specific needs of any particular project.
